1.What is the “Tusua Mapene (Mega) Promo”?

This is a promotion exclusively for Vodacom’s customers. The game is designed to engage Vodacom’s customers and give them the opportunity to participate in draws for various prizes. It is a huge promotional activity where by any Vodacom subscribers can Win Prizes!

2.How can customer subscribe/participate to the promotion?

Customer subscribe to the game through multiple channels. To start with 2 channels will be used:

  • By sending SMS with a keyword CHECK/CHEKI TO short code 15544
  • By using M-Pesa

3.What are the prizes and how can customer win?

The game is offering 3 big cash prizes every day:

1 draw prize up to Tsh. 15,000,000. The more times you play in the day the more you win, Minimum prize in the day is Tsh. 500,000

2 Instant Prizes of Tsh. 100,000,000 and Tsh. 20,000,000

1 big cash prize every month

1 draw prize of Tsh. 15,000,000

1 big cash prize at the end of tipohe game period:

Every day, or month (at 11:59PM), the contest cycle will restart

Every day one draw winner gets up to Tsh. 15,000,000 Every month one draw winner gets Tsh. 15,000,000 At the grand prize draw a winner will get a min of Tsh. 150,000,000 Instant prizes of Tsh. 100,000,000 and Tsh. 20,000,000 can be won everyday

4. What is the duration of the game?

The duration of the promotion is a minimum of 120 days. Buy monthly tickets with a discount through MPesa to guarantee your draw participation every day.

5.I want to participate but I am not a Vodacom subscriber.

This promotion is exclusive to Vodacom subscribers. Buy a Vodacom number and start playing!

6.How can customer increase his/her chances of winning?

Apart from daily subscription that enables you to enter the daily draw (up to Tsh. 15,000,000) and play for the instant prize (Tsh. 100,000,000), To increase your chance of winning, make sure you acquire draw tickets from your or an agents MPesa account. MPesa account tickets main purpose is to guarantee your participation in all instant and draw winners selections. If your participation in all draws is guaranteed, the extra tickets can be used as you prefer. You will be informed by SMS all dates you guaranteed you participation and the extra tickets remaining for extra participation on demand

Participation on demand takes place through SMS and cost Tsh. 300 per SMS/ticket or as low as Tsh. 200/ticket if you have already acquired tickets through MPesa and remained unused into your ticket account.

8. What is the Monthly Pack?

Monthly pack enables you to enter the draws for 30 days without extra charges. 2 monthly packs will enter your MSISDN to 60 days daily draws (for the up to 15,000,000), look out for the Instant prize of Tsh. 100,000,000 60 times, monthly and final draws. A combination of all three MPesa packs can take place as well. If you acquire enough tickets to enter all daily draws till the grand prize draw, all tickets you buy from that time on can be used as per your discretion by sending SMS to 15544 without being charged.

9.What is the Weekly Pack?

Weekly pack enables you to enter the draws for 30 days without extra charges. 2 Weekly packs will enter your MSISDN to 14 days daily draws (for the up to 15,000,000), look out for the Instant prize of Tsh. 100,000,000 14 times, monthly and final draws. A combination of all three MPesa packs can take place as well. If you acquire enough tickets to enter all daily draws till the grand prize draw, all tickets you buy from that time on can be used as per your discretion by sending SMS to 15544 without being charged.

11.What will happen for non-Vodacom customers who want to participate in the promo?

This promotion is exclusive to Vodacom subscribers. One has to buy a Vodacom number and participate via different channels being SMS or M-Pesa.

12.What happens if customer has low balance?

If its your first time and you have not played before is your lucky day! First day is free of charge. Special free offer might come to your mobile everyday and are valid for one day. Always read the messages your receive from 15544, a message that will change your life can be threre.

13. Can customer win more than one prize per day?

Yes, winning one prize does not mean that you are not eligible for the other prizes! Keep playing to increase your chances

14.How will customer be informed if he/she win?

In case you won Vodacom will call customer later and arrange to pick up the cash!

15.How can customer opt out from the game?

Depending on customer preferable participation channel select the Unsubscribe option or send STOP to 15544 from his/her Vodacom number. In case customer have tickets active into his/her account then wil keep on participating in the draws till those tickets expire

16.How to troubleshoot if customer sent message but didn‘t receive a reply SMS, why?

Check if your mobile is full of messages and doesn’t have enough of memory to receive new ones. Please erase some messages to free up some memory.

Please check the mobile phone is inside network coverage area. Under no or limited signal coverage, the SMS might have failed to reach the destination.

The message wasn't sent to the correct number. Write a new message and send it to the right short code according to the service you want to subscribe to.

There is a chance the network in your area is overloaded at the moment. Please show some patience. If you don’t receive a message within 15 minutes, please send a new SMS.
