    Songesha will enable you to complete transactions of Paying by M-Pesa even when you have insufficient balance.

  5. Enter amount and M-Pesa pin
  6. If your transaction fails due to insufficient funds, you will get a push notification opting you to Songesha complete the transaction.

Complete pay bill transaction with Songesha

Songesha will enable you to complete Pay bill transaction even when you have insufficient balance.

  4. Select Enter reference no.
  5. Enter meter number
  6. Enter Amount and M-Pesa pin
  7. If your transaction fails due to insufficient funds, you will get a push notification opting you to Songesha complete the transaction.

Daily Tariff Charges: (1% of the amount you took) This is a daily fee that you will be charged for each day you stay without returning the rate you took. This fee will be charged until day 18 where the limit will be capped.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the requirements for me to use Songesha?

In order to use Songesha you are required to be a M-Pesa customer with a Vodacom line. Hence you need to join through the M-Pesa menu and accept the terms and condition.

How many accounts can I use to join Songesha.

Every Vodacom line registered with M-Pesa that has been in use for at least three months will be able to use Songesha. If you are a new Vodacom customer we encourage you to use M-Pesa as much as you can for the first three months to use this service.

What are daily tariff charges?

This is the highest level that you will be able to use in SONGESHA services per month. This limit will increase or decrease according to your usage. Constantly repaying and increase use of M-Pesa will lead to the increase of Songesha limit. Negative trends will lead to a decline in the limit or lead to termination of the Songesha service.

What are the transaction types that can be completed with Songesha

Songesha will enable you to complete the following transactions:

1 - Send money to registered M-Pesa customers
2 - Pay utility bill such as LUKU, Government payments, Travel expenses, TV subscriptions etc
3 - Pay merchants that are registered under Pay by M-Pesa

How many times will I be able to use Songesha?

You will be able to use the SONGESHA service to complete a single transaction at a time when the payout will pay and you will be able to use the most of the Songesha services.

How can I utilize my Songesha limit?

You will be required to make M-Pesa transactions as usual and where you have insufficient funds to complete the transaction, Songesha will assist to finish that transaction.

Is there any fees or deductions when using Songesha?

While using the Songesha service you shall pay the transaction fees: dependent on how much you took. This fee will be charged only once you use the Songesha service. You will also be charged each day for the service that is 1% of the amount you have been given.
